New Empiricus website

Dear visitor,

Welcome to the new Empiricus website. We are currently widening and improving the capabilities of our software with the aim of providing a high quality tool for the teaching and learning of econometrics and time series analysis. In previous courses, we have deliberately avoided the promotion of Empiricus because the software was in a work-in-progress phase and we did not have the capacity to offer a support service. For the next academic year, 2011-2012, we hope to write a user manual and several tutorials describing the capabilities of Empiricus to practice undergraduate Econometrics.

The new site uses the WordPress web software to get more interaction and participation from the Empiricus users. We are also considering the posibility of using the Moodle e-learning software platform to offer training services, as well as creating a forum. The new website will be launched on September 1.

In order to avoid spam, we require you to register and login to the site for posting in the forums. Of course, we won’t display your email address if you want to keep it secret.
